Privacy Policy

EveryRenewal helps you keep track of domains, subscriptions and free trials, and reminds you before they renew or expire. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

What we collect

• Your account: your name and email address, and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) or your Google sign-in.
• What you track: the items you add or confirm: names, prices, renewal dates, which login they belong to, links and notes.
• Connected Google accounts (optional): the account's email address and an access token, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. With your permission we read emails that look like receipts, invoices, renewal notices, welcome or account emails. From those we keep only: the sender's service and domain, the address it was sent to, dates, counts, and for receipts the extracted service, price, renewal date and a short supporting quote (up to 200 characters). We do not store full email bodies.
• Browser extension (optional): when you click “Send to EveryRenewal” or “Scan this page”, the visible text of that page and its address are sent to us to find renewals. Nothing is sent without that click.
• Domain reports: when you look up a domain we query public sources (registry RDAP records, public DNS, the site's certificate and homepage, Certificate Transparency logs and the Internet Archive). We show owner details only where the registry publishes them.

How we use it

Only to provide EveryRenewal to you: showing your renewals, finding new ones in your inboxes and pages, and sending the reminder emails you choose. Email and page text is processed by an AI model only to extract renewal details, and only for you.

Google user data

EveryRenewal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Gmail data only to show you your own accounts and renewals. We don't use it for advertising, don't sell it, don't use it to train general AI models, and people don't read it except with your explicit permission, for security, or to comply with the law.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel: hosting, and the AI Gateway that routes extraction requests to the AI model provider.
• The AI model provider selected in Vercel AI Gateway (currently OpenAI): extraction of renewal details from text.
• Neon: database and authentication.
• Resend: sending reminder emails.
• Google: sign-in and, if you connect it, Gmail access.

Your choices

• Disconnect a Google account or the extension at any time on the Connect page. Disconnecting Google also revokes our access at Google.
• Delete your account in Settings. This permanently deletes your items, found accounts, connections and reminder settings.
• US state privacy rights (including California): you can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.

Security and retention

Data is sent over HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you delete your account.

Children

EveryRenewal isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
